To apply for Honors credit through a contract course, please collaborate with your professor to submit the below form. You may also access a PDF of this form.

Please also submit an original syllabus for the course you are upgrading to honors@ung.edu. (You may also submit a revised Honors Contract syllabus and/or other materials if you have those ready).

In 250 – 300 words, please describe the content and aims of the Honors Contract. Consider in what ways the Honors Contract will enhance the students’ learning experience through critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, research skills, leadership, intercultural competence, etc. Please include specific information on how this Contract course will differ from the regular course (e.g., replaced or modified assignments, readings, etc.), any additional meetings and/or responsibilities (e.g., community engagement, undergraduate research). Note that Honors coursework does not equate to added work or lengthened assignments.
