Education Abroad Academy Application

Education Abroad Academy Application

The Education Abroad Academy is a workshop series during the spring term to assist faculty in the development of a new faculty-led Education Abroad Program at UNG. CGE staff, in conjunction with experienced faculty program directors, will conduct the workshops. There will be three 75-minute workshops over the spring term.

Faculty who successfully complete the EA Academy will receive up to $2,000 to conduct a site visit to assist them with finalizing a faculty-led study abroad program. Program participants commit to submitting a site visit report and a completed faculty-led program proposal for summer 2023 by September 1, 2022.

Participants must have the support of their department head and dean for the development of the program. If more than one faculty from the same department applies, CGE will consult with the department on a final candidate.

Site visit funding is contingent upon state budget funding and COVID-19 travel restrictions; spaces are limited. All workshops will take place virtually from 12-1:15pm.
